A longtime client asked if I might be interested in creating a custom chandelier for his new dining room. All he had at the time were his architect’s plans and some general ideas; he wanted it to fill most of the room, hug the cathedral ceiling as much as possible, stay about 8′ off the floor, and have some connection to the farm, (it’s a farm to table restaurant). After I sent some preliminary sketches, we met onsite once the room was closed and for a design session, and I followed up with some mock-up photos to the client.
After 6 weeks of problem solving, fabrication and construction began.
The client loves Seussian colors so we decided to combine the bold colors with a subtle poppy seed texture.
Assembly and first look.
Box truck all pack and ready to go.
The final installation.
